Covid-19 relief projectS
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Wellness for Africa successfully completed two separate life-changing projects. The first, was to raise approximately $42,000 to fund the cost to deliver a 40-foot shipping container (semi-truck bed) of medical supplies containing PPE (personal protective equipment) and other much needed medical equipment. The second was to raise $75,000 to go toward the modernization of X-ray equipment for St. Dominic’s Mission Hospital by funding the purchase of a Digital X-Ray system.
Thanks to a countless number of like-minded individual donors, donations from various church organizations, and donations from family foundations, Wellness for Africa was able to successfully fund both projects resulting in the ability to protect an innumerable number of vulnerable healthcare providers and elevate the quality of care they delivered to the patients they served.
